Dear Little One

Dear daughter,

This seems like a more difficult letter to write than any other letters I have wrote to you. I feel a mix of emotions on this day you are turning 8! It's not like you are turning into a teenager of the age 13, or even a 16 year old who is getting their drivers license. Yet worse, it's not like you are leaving me into a start of a empty nester at the age of 18! Why does this feel so hard for me? Could it be you will be going into 3rd grade, that I've noticed you look older, or that simply for some time now you won't let me wash your hair any more?

Your small freckles are still the same (thank goodness)! Your Emma- silly faces are still uniquely yours. Your goofiness often gives way to a young girl but I can see the small changes of an 8 year old simmering beneath the surface.

I'm very proud of the little young lady that you are growing into. I wish we can freeze time permanently to hold on to you just as you are. Your infectious smile, minor tantrums, the hormones just beginning to surface but I know in Gods plans you are meant to keep growing, adventuring into the young girl and then eventually the young woman you will become. I know each day you are here with me is by the grace of God, in shaping and building the character that will follow you into womanhood and beyond. I thank God for entrusting me with you and that I get to be a witness to it. I'm glad to stand by you learning with you and from you. To have a hand in guiding you along the way.

Sweet Emma, as you turn 8 today, I have prayed for you and will continue to do that for the rest of my life.

Yours truly
Mommy

Father's Day

Thank you for showing us every day what real unconditional love ️ looks like! This past year and some you have really step up to the plate . Your self-less acts of taking care of our family has showed me what matters most in LIFE which is FAMILY and SELF-SACRIFICE!

You have been non-stop working your heart out to provide for us! On top of that you have taken our kids twice a week to and from their home school classes  which is a total of 2 hour drive each day! Your LOVE for me has showed everyday by the little things you do to try and make my life easier!Every day you tell me you love me and how beautiful I am! I will never get tired of hearing those words!

Every morning you wakes up super early before us all to bring me coffee ☕️and muffins home for the kids then off to work you go! I seriously have the BEST loving and caring husband and father God could have ever given us!

Some days you feels like you're a failure but in my eyes you are always amazing! You're the most generous, self-less man and friend I've meet!  You are forever imprinting founding memories for us! We will always remember what a wonderful and beautiful person you are! That there is a family legacy to always be remembered! Thank you for all your hard work! You are a true inspiration and the best role model for us all! We love you with all our hearts! You're kind of a BIG deal around here!😉

Here is a great deal from Door Post, a bible-study-parenting & Character training website.
http://www.doorposts.com/sale.aspx

I just purchased this for my 5 year old daughter a month ago, and I already love this product. All though we have not started yet, as I'm still getting familiar with book. My plan was to have a character training lesson with my child during the summer. This product has something inside for every age. I'm very excited knowing that this will not only be are summer lesson but Polished Cornerstone will be a tool that will allow me to use through out my daughter little girl years all the way to her young woman years. There are a variety of projects in this book to meet my daughter's unique needs.

hi

hi

First Post

Hi there,
I'm excited to to announce that I will be writing, and blogging all the cool things I discover about homeschooling. This blog will be used for my homeschooling tracking purposes and resources. My prayer is that I can provide new Homeschoolers with some helpful resources, ideas and encouragement. As a mommy of 3 beautiful little children ages 9 months-5 years old I know the importance of getting help and returning the favor by helping others. My goal is to create a homeschooling community on here, that way we are all supporting each other through this wonderful journey of Homeschooling. I'm looking forward to meeting you and hearing about your resources and ideas. Please feel to comment below introducing yourself and tell us a little bit about yourself and your homeschooling.

P.s. If you feel inclined to link in the comments your blogging page, please feel free too.

Best Regards,

Amber Rand
